New Job at the Board of Regents in Athens

On Friday I got the call I had been waiting for, an offer for the job I applied for at the Board of Regents in Athens. It is a Customer Service Specialist I position and my job duties will be helping support many university wide systems that are hosted in the building: WebCT Vista, PeachNET, Galileo, Banner, PeopleSoft, and tones of others. It will mostly be answering phones, emails, and sending tickets to other areas for them to look at problems. I signed my offer as soon as I got off work on Friday so I am officially on board, and will start November 16th. I am very excited to have a full time job with very nice benefits, and greater pay. I love Athens and am happy to start my career here and live here for a long time to come. I am hoping it won’t effect my concert going and photography any, but we will see with time.
