Today I received an email from Chris Hassiotis at Flagpole asking me if I was interesting in taking some photos of the A-Frame house which Widespread Panic played their first show back on February 24, 1985. I immediately told him i was interested, and made arrangements with the current residents to come take some photos of the historic house. I will be going over there around 6pm and take some interior and exterior shots that correspond with the article. This marks my first non-concert related assignment which is cool. I would assume the article will be in April 18th’s flagpole since it is the closest to the Panic’s three nights at the Classic Center. Stay tuned.
Also keep on the lookout for this weeks Flagpole which will feature photos from Pylon’s secret show at Little Kings to which I have already posted the photos. I was so lucky to witness such a great band. It was truly one of the best shows I have ever witnessed. The youngster’s need to learn from the veterans 🙂
Also, stay tuned for photos from Elf Power’s secret show at the Ultra Mod, this show ended the Ultra Mod’s 15 year concert history. It will be demolished in the coming months.
[Update]
